Crocus offer several varieties of spring flowering Forsythias which are fully hardy deciduous shrubs. The flowers appear on the stems before the leaves. These rich yellow flowering varieties can be planted in full sun or partial shade. 'Forsythia x intermedia Lynwood' flowers April to May and 'Forsythia x intermedia Week-End' flowers March to April.
